PreEminent Academy student applications
If cost is the barrier to completing your Academy program, this is where it gets addressed.
PreEminent Foundation funding is available exclusively to students enrolled at PreEminent Academy. Apply through the process below and the Foundation team will respond with a clear decision and next steps.

The application process
Submit your application
Complete the form below with your personal details, your PreEminent Academy program information, a description of the specific cost you need supported, and a motivation statement explaining your situation.
Acknowledgement within 2 working days
You will receive an email acknowledgement confirming receipt of your application and advising if any additional documentation is required before review can begin.
Review and assessment
Your application is reviewed against our published eligibility criteria. We will verify your enrolment status with PreEminent Academy directly and confirm the outstanding amount with the Academy's administration. This typically takes 5–10 working days.
Decision communicated
You will be notified of the outcome by email. If approved, the decision includes the allocation amount, disbursement method, and expected timeline. Declined applications receive a reason and, where applicable, guidance for reapplication.
Disbursement directly to PreEminent Academy
Approved funds are paid directly to PreEminent Academy on your behalf. You will receive confirmation once the transfer has been made and should follow up with the Academy's student accounts team to confirm the payment has been applied to your account.

What you'll need to prepare
Having the following ready before you start your application will allow us to process it without unnecessary delays:
- Valid South African ID or passport
- Proof of current enrolment at PreEminent Academy (student card, acceptance letter, or official Academy enrolment confirmation)
- Proof of the specific cost — a fees statement or official letter from PreEminent Academy's student accounts department
- Evidence of any existing funding you have (bursary letter, employer contribution, or similar, if applicable)
- A motivation statement of 200–500 words explaining your situation, the specific barrier, and what completing your Academy program means for you
Documents are not uploaded directly through this form — after submission you will receive an email with instructions for submitting supporting documents securely.

Application FAQs
How long does the review process take?
Standard applications with complete documentation are reviewed within 10–14 working days from receipt of all required documents. Complex cases or those requiring third-party verification may take longer.
What happens if my application is incomplete?
Incomplete applications are not reviewed. You will be notified of the missing information and given the opportunity to resubmit as a complete application. Resubmitted applications are treated as new and re-enter the review queue.
Do I need to be fully enrolled to apply, or can I apply before my Academy program starts?
You may apply once you have a formal acceptance or enrolment confirmation from PreEminent Academy. If your enrolment is conditional on clearing an outstanding balance, include that documentation — the Foundation can assist with pre-programme clearance costs.
Can someone apply on my behalf?
No. Applications must be submitted by the student themselves. PreEminent Academy may coordinate batch referrals for eligible students — if you are an Academy programme coordinator, contact management@preeminent.org.za to arrange this.
Will I get feedback if my application is declined?
Yes. All applicants receive a written response. Declined applications include the reason for the decision and, where applicable, guidance on whether reapplication is possible.
Is my personal information kept confidential?
Yes. All personal information is handled in accordance with POPIA. Your details are used only for reviewing and processing your application and are not shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
